2.1System composition

This system mainly includes:

* Energy converter storage(PCS): One 500kW off-grid two-way energy storage converter is connected to the grid on a 0.4KV AC bus to realize the bidirectional flow of energy.
* Lithium iron phosphate battery: using Ganfeng 3.2V/86AH power battery, 4P3S module to form 240 strings of 768V battery clusters, a single container of 4 clusters, a total of about 1.05MWh energy.
* EMS&BMS:According to the upper-level scheduling instructions, it completes the charge and discharge control of the energy storage system and the monitoring of battery SOC information.*
Container: 1 30-foot container forms a 0.5MW/1MWh energy storage system.

System Features

(1)This system is mainly used for peak-to-valley arbitrage, and at the same time can be used as a backup power source to avoid power increase and improve power quality.
(2)The energy storage system has complete communication, monitoring, management, control, early warning and protection functions, long-term continuous and safe operation, and can detect the operating status of the system through the host computer, and has a wealth of data analysis functions.
(2)The BMS system not only communicates with the EMS system to report battery pack information, but also directly communicates with the PCS using the RS485 bus, and completes various monitoring and protection functions for the battery pack with the cooperation of the PCS.
(3)Regular 0.2C charge and discharge, can work off-grid or grid-connected.

For grid operation, active and reactive power can be dispatched through the PQ mode or droop mode of the energy storage converter to meet grid-connected charging and discharging electricity demand.
◇ The energy storage system discharges the load during the electricity price peak period or the load peak period, which not only realizes the peak-shaving and valley-filling function of the grid, but also completes the energy supplement during the peak period of power consumption.
◇ The energy storage converter accepts superior power dispatch and realizes the charge and discharge management of the entire energy storage system according to the intelligent control of peak, valley, and flat periods.
◇ When the energy storage system detects an abnormality in the mains, the energy storage converter is controlled to switch from the grid-connected operation mode to the isolated island (off-grid) operation mode.
◇ When the energy storage converter operates independently from the grid, it serves as the main voltage source to provide a stable electrical voltage and frequency for the container’s local load to ensure its uninterrupted power supply.
